WHAT IS THE PLAN
The Timeline
STEP #1 – Aggressive Fund Raising for 18 months
We have a chapter alumni list of 620 Brothers. We will also be reaching out via email and social media. Whether you want to write a yearly check, break up your donation monthly, use an autopayment service, Pay Pal or Venmo, we have an option for everyone’s budget. Any alumni that donates a total of $1,000 or more will be recognized on the “Alumni Donors Wall” in the new house. With total donations of $10,000 or more, one of the bedroom rooms will be named after you with a custom plaque above the door.
STEP #2 – Communication
Going forward we will be posting updates and sending out emails. Please make sure and follow all the Facebook pages for updates, visit the web pages, and most importantly, email the alumni email account so that we have your correct email address.
STEP #3 - Building Plans & Costs
In mid-January Housing Committee members met to come up with a general design and layout of the home. Those plans have been given to an architect to draw up the plans. Those will be taken to the contractor to nail down the costs and adjust accordingly to hit the budget. We will then send out another update with new details, dates, and costs to all alumni.
STEP #4 – Taking Advantage of Network and Resources
If you have any connections to people or companies that could help us lower the cost of building our new chapter house, we definitely need to know about them. We are looking for electricians, plumbers, roofers, landscapers, etc… Please email us.
STEP #5 – Break Ground & Construction
The goal is to break ground in the spring of 2020 and have the house ready for the fall Rush. This is an aggressive goal, but very reachable. Even if half the alumni on our list only donated $450, we would hit our goal. As we get closer more details will follow.
STEP #6 – Alumni House Tour & Social Event
Once our new chapter house is complete, we will have a house tour and party for alumni and spouses
